BlockGaze
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
BlockGaze operates this website and is responsible for the personal data it processes. Contact BlockGaze at info@blockgaze.com about privacy or your data.
Visiting the site
You do not need an account to browse, and the site has no sign-in; nothing you type into it is sent to us. Requests to the site expose technical information to our reverse proxy, such as your IP address, requested URL, referring page, time, browser information, and response status. Its access and error logs may contain this information.
We use requests to serve the site, and operational information to diagnose faults and protect availability. Where this involves personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and securing a public website.
We also compute traffic statistics from the reverse proxy's access logs, such as visitor numbers, popular pages, referring sites, and approximate countries, based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. The approximate country is derived from your IP address with DB-IP's free IP-to-country database, which we keep on our own server, so your address is not sent to DB-IP. The statistics are for our own use and involve no tracking script or cookie.
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It does not include analytics trackers or advertising. Fonts and images are served by this site; loading them does not contact a third party.
Contact links open your own email client. The site itself does not send or store messages. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to include. We use that information to respond and manage the enquiry, relying on our legitimate interest in correspondence or, where applicable, steps you request toward an agreement. Please leave out sensitive information we do not need.
Messages sent to info@blockgaze.com pass through ImprovMX, our email-forwarding service, to a Gmail inbox, where Google handles them. Both may process your message outside the EU/EEA, under the transfer safeguards their policies describe. See the privacy policies of Google (opens in a new tab) and ImprovMX (opens in a new tab).
The explorers and other sites
FSNEX and the BNB Smart Chain explorer are separate sites with their own privacy policies: FSNEX and BNB Smart Chain explorer. Links to X, LinkedIn, Telegram, GitHub, and other sites take you to independently operated services with their own privacy practices.
Retention and disclosure
The reverse proxy is configured to rotate non-empty access and error logs weekly, keeping four access-log archives and ten error-log archives in addition to the current logs. These are archive-count limits, not fixed deletion deadlines: empty logs are skipped, so older archives can remain longer when logging is inactive. These settings apply to proxy logs, not all technical records or backups. For the traffic statistics, a second copy of the access logs is kept on a separate monitoring server on our local network and deleted automatically after about 35 days.
Correspondence is kept as needed to address the enquiry and any related obligations or dispute. Information may be available to service providers needed to deliver the site or correspondence, and may be disclosed where legally required. We do not use the site for profiling or decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on visitors.
Your rights and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights have conditions and exceptions. Email info@blockgaze.com; we may need proportionate information to verify a request.
You can complain to your local data-protection authority. In Sweden, this is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY) (opens in a new tab).
We update this notice when the site's data handling changes.
