Use case 01 · Private & enterprise networks

Block explorer for private EVM networks

Your team gets a searchable view of your private, permissioned or consortium chain. We can host it, or it can run on your own servers, even with no internet access.

One shared view of the chain

Developers, operators and auditors look up the same blocks, addresses and transaction hashes instead of querying nodes by hand. Every transaction shows its transfers, fees, status and emitted events, on one site your team can open.

Hosted by us or on your infrastructure

BlockGaze can operate the explorer for you, or it can run on your own infrastructure alongside your nodes, including inside a network with no internet access. Who can reach it, and who runs it day to day, is agreed with you before deployment and fitted to your organisation's internal workflows.

Built for permissioned and consortium networks

Private networks often have their own rules, and some add their own transaction or token types. Before agreeing on a deployment, we check how yours differs from a standard EVM chain, so the explorer shows it as it actually works, under your network's name and colours.

The history your organisation needs

Keep a rolling window of recent activity for day-to-day operations, or index the available history for audits and reporting. Because raw data is retained, decoding for new contracts or token types can be added later without reading the chain again.

What we need from you

  • Access to an RPC endpoint on your network
  • Your network's rules and any custom transaction or token types
  • The name and colour palette the explorer should carry
  • Where it should run: hosted by BlockGaze or on your infrastructure
  • Whether to keep a rolling window of recent activity or the available history

Try it on BNB Smart Chain

The same software your private explorer would run, keeping up with a public chain that adds a block about every 0.45 s.

Before we talk

What enterprise teams ask first

Can the explorer run on our own infrastructure?

Yes. BlockGaze can host the explorer for you, or it can run on your own infrastructure alongside your nodes. Access requirements and operational responsibilities are agreed before deployment.

Can it run on a network with no internet access?

Yes. The explorer can run entirely offline, reading from your nodes inside your own network. FSNEX already works this way: everything it holds was fetched from a node with no internet access.

Which EVM clients does it work with?

BlockGaze reads from a node's RPC interface. It currently runs against Fusion's Geth-based client and public BNB Smart Chain RPC endpoints. For permissioned and consortium clients, such as Hyperledger Besu or GoQuorum, we review your RPC interface, network rules and any custom transaction or token types before agreeing on a deployment.

Can our internal tools use the indexed data?

Yes. A read-only API gives internal tools and reports access to the same indexed records as the explorer. Read the API docs (opens in a new tab)

How is a private deployment priced?

It depends on your network's size and activity, the history you keep, customisation, and hosting or support needs. A short description of your network is enough to scope it.
